Lost vs. The Office

Comments(7)

Now that the writer’s strike has ended we have been promised 5 more episodes of LOST to add to the 8 currently in the pipe. The season has been (mostly) saved! But I just found out today that the Office will return April 10th… when? Thursdays at 9pm.

That’s right, the ONLY two good shows on network tv are going to be on at the same time. I guess that means Fridays will be my new day to watch the office.

Best of 2006

We’ve got a little less than one day left in 2006, so I think it’s safe for me to finally post my second annual “best of” lists for 2006. Man-O-Man I hope a bunch of great films and albums don’t come out in the next 18 hours and make me look like a fool. Feel free to argue the insanity of my picks and link to your own “best of” lists. Remember today and tomorrow are the two days when “thou SHALL judge” the previous year anyway.

Tonight LOST is back! Oh how I have waited and pined for thee. Seriously, I need to know about that giant foot statue, the dudes in the Antarctic, what is going on with the Others, Libby’s pre-island connection to Hurley and… and there’s so much! I can’t wait.

About a year ago some friends of mine were going insane over a tv show called LOST. It was worse than how girls get about Alias… a lot worse. Now I thought that it looked cool from what ads I had seen on tv, but I also thought that their devotion and obsession was way overboard and only evidenced the lack of a social life they had developed post-college. That was a year ago. Today I am here to tell you that LOST is absolutely the best tv show I have ever seen. I am captivated by it and calling me obsessed would not be far off. Kara and I started renting the DVDs of the first season sometime about a week and a half ago. We’ve been watching around four episodes a night, we just can’t get enough. It won’t be long that we’re caught up to the 2nd season thanks to iTunes. So to Kaz, Chad, Steve etc. you were right… LOST is blowing my mind, I love it.
