Earlier this summer I began working on a new design for chuckp3.com in hopes that I would one day leave blogger behind for the promised land of WordPress. So I got work in Photoshop and eventually came up with what you see now. The next step was to turn this visual image into a working, functioning blog. This is where my friend Stephen Reinhardt comes in. Stephen took my photoshop file and made it into a working blog template. Check out Stephen’s WordPress theme site www.wpzone.net and I hear his band In Reverent Fear is going to be dropping a new album sometime soon… you will NOT want to miss that.

Charlie,
Oh, and I always think there should be a comma before the “and” in a list. But that’s not a solid rule. More common in American usage, though.
It looks great! I thought I’d tell you that “imitating” is spelled wrong in your byline. I spelled it right here.
Love.
Fixed my dear, thanks for being my pro-bono editor.
The site looks great – it pops out. Nice work.
Also really like the side bar, pics look good and I like the texture of it.
pics are nice and crisp (do you have a HD uploader?).
Looking forward to reading more.
Have been meaning to email you. Will catch up with you soon.
I’ve just been doing the pics I use in Photoshop and saving them as .png files. I never know if I might want to tweak the blog in the future and not have a white background, so I wanted my old pics to have transparency with the shadows if that was the case. I don’t think that .png’s compress anywhere near what a .jpg would, so they’re probably just way bigger files and come out crisper.
That being said, what’s an “HD Uploader”?
