The Roasterie is a voyeur's dream. I should be studying, I know. But I can't help but people-watch. And they have these great mirrors so you can sneak looks without being obvious. It's amazing how many people have facial ticks. Thanks for the break down, chuck.

Brandon

I mean this: Best written article/blog by a local KC resident concerning beverage/food and culture. I agree with your analysis mostly however, I would personally choose to analyze the Filling Station over Latte Land and would give the following rankings:

Best coffee house non studying: Crave

Best coffee house to study in: Scooters

Not that you asked my opionion but I thought I would add on to an excellent blog.

Jake

I end up going to Westport Coffeehouse more than the crave because of seating and food mostly. The crave has ONE good table for studying so if you don't grab that one you're screwed. If I'm not studying or using a lap top I prefer the Crave because it has an abundance of couches. It is much more relaxed and conversational in it's ambiance.

I LOVE THIS, Charlie.

So helpful and wise and creatively done.

I would love to do this for, like, Ethnic restaurants or something. We can each be specialists of our own digestible genre.

All that said ...

I'm going to take this opportunity to "name the powers." STARBUCKS is the place you're avoiding.

And while I love and admire you ... I still do like me some Starbucks.

I hope you'll forgive me.
