Then you&#039;ll see why Kurosawa doesn&#039;t just have a couple films tossed around in the &quot;best ever&quot; category, but why many consider him the best all-time directors. He was one of the few artists ever to be both timely, impacting their peers immediately, and before his time. Rashomon does things that other filmmakers didn&#039;t start doing until the 90&#039;s.</description>

		<description>Comparing the first of &lt;i&gt;Seven Samurai&lt;/i&gt; from one of those failed 1am attempts to &lt;i&gt;Rashomon&lt;/i&gt;, I give the edge to &lt;i&gt;Rashomon&lt;/i&gt;.  I&#039;ll let you watch it first, but I found the latter to be a much deeper (and richer) film thematically.  Though it certainly was not as stylistically groundbreaking.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Are you using BB online or Netflix?  Perhaps we should buddy up and share queues, no?</description>
