Most Important Theology Books in Past 25 years!
Eric Lee tagged me to put up my list of best books of theology published in the past 25 years.
This is the criteria:
1. Torture and Eucharist by William T. Cavanaugh 1998
2. Resident Aliens by Stanley Hauerwas & William Willimon 1989
3. Between Cross & Resurrection by Alan E. Lewis 2001

And now I'm tagging... Wilson Ryland, Scott Savage and David Tatum
This is the criteria:
Name three (or more) theological works from the last 25 years (1981-2006) that you consider important and worthy to be included on a list of the most important works of theology of that last 25 years (in no particular order).
1. Torture and Eucharist by William T. Cavanaugh 1998
2. Resident Aliens by Stanley Hauerwas & William Willimon 1989
3. Between Cross & Resurrection by Alan E. Lewis 2001

And now I'm tagging... Wilson Ryland, Scott Savage and David Tatum

Where are "The Purpose Driven Life" and "Your Best Life Now?" I've already proven this to be a crappy list, but in case you are still not satisfied, here is the deathblow...(I will keep it curt, so as to be merciful) NO BARNA!!!
Andy Riley's 'Book of Bunny Suicides' should be in there somewhere. i don't dare theosophize without it.
1. Liberation Theology After the End of History: The Refusal to Cease Suffering (Radical Orthodoxy) 2001
2. Mere Discipleship: Radical Christianity in a Rebellious World 2003
3. Missional Church: A Vision for the Sending of the Church in North America (The Gospel and Our Culture Series) 1998
You're supposed to blog about it on your own site. Then you tag other people... it keeps it going.
Uh oh, Charlie's pissed. Some people have been ignoring blog protocol and the planets have become misaligned.
Don't worry Charlie, unlike these other people, I did it right the first time: kazio.livejournal.com
Kaz I think your "emotion sensor" is on the fritz again. It's confusing "clarification" with being crazy-f'ing-mad again.
Scott Savage tagged me, but i play by my own rules!
