We’ve got a little less than one day left in 2006, so I think it’s safe for me to finally post my second annual “best of” lists for 2006. Nowhere here does it read "I dislike LOST." Quit freaking out, I LOVE LOST.

Sure, that's what you say NOW. But in your post you said "I hate LOST, LOST is the worst show on TV, and JJ Abrams can kiss my butt." Those are direct quotes my friend, and if you need further proof, just hover over my name and see the site that has sprung up in response to your post.

Nuff said.

P.S. You had something to do with Mr. Eko getting written of the show, didn't you?! You disgust me.

Mockingbird came out in 2005.

I am with you though, The Office > Lost.

The Office IS better than Lost.

Anyway, i'm curious Charlie, do you ever read fiction?

I do read fiction. In between semesters, and usually classics. Recently I read Heart of Darkness and 1984. I do want to get back into last year's The March by E.L. Doctoro which I've still yet to finish.

I hear Kallie on the fiction thing. I think I've read about 50 pages of fiction in the past 5 or 6 years due to my addiction to reading something more 'direct.' Why read 1984 when I can read Theopolitical Imagination by Cavanaugh? Or so goes my usual logic.

Sad, I know. But more recently I am moving into areas of theology where more and more authors are offering up some literary analysis. But even then, am I really enjoying Steinbeck or am I missing the point by fishing some theological lesson out of Travel's with Charleys' pages? *Sigh*

Although i don't know anything about 'The March', i'm amused that you listed fiction books with such social commentary and cultural significance they're practically non-fiction. :]
