His idea that we're better off serving than doing anything else seems simplistic, but it also seems to work. I remember an argument that waged in a denominational paper once, and the final word was from a man of wisdom who asked "Are the hungry fed, are the orphans and widows cared for?" He didn't see how we could possibly have time to argue over such things when there was still work to be done. I doubt Boyd will have much impact though.
