Brown Recluse Bite

So I got a brown recluse bite (I think) sometime on Friday. After a nice bruise formed on my foot where the venom appeared to have pooled I started to ice it down and tell friends about it. After some pretty scary stories and photos like THIS (warning: DISGUSTING photo) on the internet, I took the day off work early to visit the doctor. I’m now on anti-biotics and all things should be well. So we’ll see.

Charlie, I'm glad your foot is doing better. But Post is right, it couldn've killed you. I'm glad you got medical attention. Where did you get the bite? Were you on a plane? Because I've heard a rumor...something about snakes. Maybe it was really a bit from the SNAKES ON A PLANE!!!

That is, by far, one of the most disgusting photos I've ever seen. On a lighter note, who would you say is your favorite author?

Nice blog.

I know! That's why I took this thing so seriously.

Favorite author? Bonhoeffer, Hauerwas or Dostoyevsky. I have a hard time picking absolute favorites.

Check out my "library thing" to see what I've got in my library, that might help more.

ps-I see that you've lifted my "I love Stephen Colbert" badge off my site, I'm flattered. Perhaps it will get around the net!
