PowerBook

I’ve just updated the “template” of my blog. I think it looks a lot nicer this way. Speaking of things that just look nice… the 17″ Powerbook. Yes indeed I am seriously considering “switching” to mac. They’re just so darn cool… that and it’s one sick computer!

A friend of mine, Eric Lee, sent me this article from the Atlantic Quarterly back in Feburary of 1982. It’s a very interesting piece on the economic push behind diamonds and the marketing strategies used to invent this “need” in the minds of so many men and women.
Check it out.

Well it’s my second day of work, I get off in an hour and 20 minutes. Pretty slow right now, I’m just learning FrontPage and what not since I’ve been using Dreamweaver (way nicer) all this time. Anyway, I’m going to Josh Sweeden’s wedding tomorrow up in Ojai, CA. Rusty came down so it should be fun driving up and what not. The appartment is almost all moved into, we’re just organizing everything now. At least everyone has a mattress!

Well I’ve been so busy with school I haven’t posted ina long time it looks like. What’s new? I got an appartment, woo-hoo! Living with some great guys, Chad Van Soest, Steven Potter, and Tim Gaines. Well now for my usual ranting… here are some articles about our government’s misuse of information. Oh hindsight! So frustrating that the public bought into all this, like lemmings off a cliff they all rushed to war (although I hear that lemmings really don’t jump off cliffs…) anyway, here are the articles.

Road to War paved with lies (April 27th)
Leaders distort and fabricate evidence
